Abstract

In ALai’s The mushroom circle, the Tibetan female character Si Jiong is successfully shaped with core traits of ecological wisdom, cultural persistence, and life resilience. Based on an interdisciplinary and intertextual research approach, this paper argues that Si Jiong’s individual qualities are not isolated expressions of her ethnic group, but rather a natural manifestation of the inherent character of the Chinese national community. By engaging the interpretive tension of this literary image in dialogue with real-world social practices, the author holds that sports events, as a significant field of cultural practice can effectively promote ethnic exchange, communication, and integration. They serve to embody and realize the spiritual core Si Jiong represents in reality. Thereby building a bridge between literary narratives and the practical construction of the nation. This provides theoretical support (combining literary depth and sociological empirical evidence) for consolidating the consciousness of the Chinese nation community.
